Zorro,
first son of Baez, was the first llama born to Rosebud Llamas Utah. He,
too, is full of personality and enjoys being out as much as his mother
and younger brothers. He went along with the big boys on day hikes and
exploratory forays into the Ashley National Forest early on, sometimes
letting out his characteristic little whine of concern when the trail
down looked a little steeper than he’d seen. He joined the pack string
before his mother finished having babies and went on his first Kings
Peak hike in 2000. He’s good with children and adults alike and does
his job well. He and his half-sister Maya will always be two of our
first choices to visit with the children from Con Amore School on their
“Free Fishing Day.” He is within one pack trial of earning his Advanced
Pack Llama certification.
